IPR

We require our investments to have a strong technology component that is unique with a concrete intellectual property right (patents & copyrights) or trade secret component upon which the competitive advantage should be based.

SECTOR FOCUS

DCP has a generalist deep technology focus with an emphasis on biotech, green-tech, agri-tech, life sciences, materials & nanotechnology, IT, robotics and mechatronics. We will welcome submission in other tech areas as well; however, we do not invest in business model innovations.

INVESMENT PROCESS

Meetings begin with an initial call where entrepreneur(s) shares the pitch deck, business and financial plan. In these meetings, the start-up's future vision and objectives, technical and financial milestones are discussed. After a comprehensive screening and positive assessment of the investment committee, a term sheet will be signed, and the legal and financial due diligence process will start.
